Your child will learn to dance. They'll also learn who they want to be.
Every ADS class ends with ten minutes from one of our four Signature Programs: Character Development, Leadership, Etiquette, and Weekly Wins, taught in a way that fits each age. No extra program. No extra night out.

The last 10 minutes of every class
This is what we mean by Signature Programs. When the dancing ends, class isn't over. Dancers sit together with their teacher for ten minutes of character development, leadership, etiquette, or Weekly Wins, with a page made for their age group and a question to talk about at home.
- A topic to discuss in class
- A coloring page, worksheet, or projectMatched to each age group
- A question for the dinner tableSo the lesson keeps going at home
One program each week, every month
- Week 1
Character Development
Kindness, honesty, gratitude, and keeping your word.
- Week 2
Leadership
Speaking up, helping others, and setting goals.
- Week 3
Etiquette
Studio manners, introductions, and good sportsmanship.
- Week 4
Weekly Wins
Celebrating each dancer's progress, reviewing the month, and rehearsing for the next show.
Coloring pages, worksheets, and projects
Each lesson ends with a page made for your dancer's age group, a topic to discuss in class, and a topic to talk about at home. Preschoolers color one simple idea. Juniors complete worksheets. Preteens and teens take on task and project pages, including holiday service projects.
Two shows a year give dancers a goal they can see. That keeps them excited to learn, and it moves them up the dancer journey: pins every quarter, trophies each June, and a clear next level to reach.

Are there dance classes near Edison that teach manners and etiquette?
Yes. Every ADS class includes etiquette lessons, from studio manners to good sportsmanship, for families in Edison, Piscataway, Iselin, Highland Park and beyond.
Can I see a sample before we enroll?
Yes. Scroll up to see sample pages for every age group, or open the printable PDF and let your child try one at home.
Do these lessons cost extra?
No. They're built into every class for every enrolled dancer. The last ten minutes of class are devoted to them.
What will my preschooler actually do?
Color a simple page about one idea, like sharing, and talk about it with the teacher. Then bring it home and keep the conversation going.
How often do dancers perform?
Twice a year, at our Winter and Summer shows. Weekly Wins, in week four of each month, includes choreography for the next performance.
