Nicole Washington

Nicole Washington is the artistic heartbeat of American Dance Studios. As Head Teacher and Director of Artistic Operations, she brings vision, structure, and excellence to every corner of the studio, from the tiniest preschool dancer to the most advanced competitive performer.

Nicole serves as the lead director for all major productions, including the Annual Recital and Winter Nutcracker Holiday Show. She oversees musical selection, class order, choreography coordination, and backstage management, ensuring every production is seamless, elevated, and memorable for families and performers alike.

She is also the Director of the Competitive Dance Team, guiding dancers through applications, choreography, music selection, costume design, and competition preparation with intention and professionalism. Her leadership fosters discipline, confidence, and artistry on and off the stage.

An exceptional educator, Nicole teaches across all age levels and disciplines, including preschool (ages 2–3 and 4–5), primary dancers (ages 6–8), and teens. She leads studio-wide curriculum development and continuing education, mentoring teachers and upholding the highest standards of training.

In addition to her artistic leadership, Nicole plays a vital role in studio operations. As second-in-command in ownership meetings, she supports payroll, operations, and administrative decision-making, with authority to sign checks and manage key systems when needed.

Nicole’s presence blends grace with strength, creativity with structure, and heart with professionalism. She is a trusted leader, a gifted teacher, and an inspiring role model for students, families, and staff.
